Globalization 4.0 – Summary of the World Economic Forum 2019

Each year, the world’s leading scientists, politicians, thought-, and business leaders assemble in Davos to discuss the most important economic, social and political trends. The theme of this year’s World Economic Forum was ‘Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution’.

&samhoud’s higher goal is Together we build a brighter future. For this reason, we follow the World Economic Forum closely each year. We have made an extensive summary and overview of the topics and variety of views that were discussed during the sessions in Davos. This article is based on livestreams of the sessions, as well as the articles, papers and reports that can all be found on www.weforum.org. The overview focusses on the themes that are of utmost importance when considering how we should be building a brighter future together.

We also made a short version of this article, which includes a summary of the three major problems discussed during this year’s forum, along with several solutions that were presented.
